French Teacher Teach Class
French Writing Rubric
French teacher in RC Palmer most are very nice. They want to finish their career as teach French. French teacher teach about 25% reading, 25% writing, 25% vocabulary, and 25% communication in class.
For reading, teachers will ask students to read French books, such as comics, story, novel. Teachers can let students choose types they like. If students feel annoy or boring, they can let students to watch French TV show, maybe it will be much better for students' feel. After read and watch, they will ask students to summarize or answer the question from the text or TV show. Those will help students understand French more better.
Assessment Percentage
French Vocabulary
For writing, teacher will ask students to write paragraph by using French. The students that just started learning French can only try to write as more as them can. But for students that had learning for long time, teacher will let them try to write longer paragraph. Also, teacher will ask students use more vocabulary and correct grammar. The writing shouldn't only have simple words, it should have more accurate words. The most important points for grammar are the different tenses (past, present and future), it should be use correctly.
For vocabulary, teacher will ask students to learn more hard French words. They will give students vocab sheet, and let students write the meaning and the word in English next to it. Few weeks will do a quiz, like fill the words in blank or match the words to right meaning. Goal is to help students understand common words in French.
French Dialogue
For communication, it can include speaking and listening. Teacher will let students to talking together. Make sure students can speak French clearly, other student can understand. Also the student can understand what are the other student say. Teacher will also make students pronounce right. Goal is students can use French communication rightly in the future.
