Math Homework
In RC Palmer secondary school Math class, students will listen to their teacher's lecture first, and take the note for the lesson knowledge then they will do work. After few class, they will get a quiz. After few quiz, students will get a unit test.
Most class at the begging students will get few page similar worksheet, it's the note, the most important thing. Students will use it to do the work and review for the quiz and test. On the note, there are all the knowledge points and problem solving format of this unit. The question above here students most will follow the teacher's instructions.

Math Classwork
After taking notes, they will get the worksheet from the teacher. Sometimes students will get homework, sometimes will get classwork. Homework generally not too much, it means students can use the class time try to finish, the rest need to be down at home. Classwork generally there are more, but students just try to do as more as they can in class. If they don't finish in class, it's okay, they don't need to finish after school.
After kind of 1 or 2 classes of the unit finish, students will get a quiz. Unit test will coming after all the classes of the unit finish. Quiz is more simple than test, most use to practice or check students understanding, but test is a more formal and comprehensive evaluation, it will have more questions and related to learning report. Students mostly received the notification a few days before the text/quiz, and according to teacher's notes to review.
In conclusion, students will use take notes, do work, and test or quiz to learn math knowledge.
