Social Studies Teacher Teach Class
Different Social Studies teacher's teaching method are different in RC Palmer Secondary School. If the teaching method better, students will feel nice. Teachers mainly will let students discuss, research information, and do projects to study. Social Studies teacher will teach separately history, geography, civics, and economics.
For history, teacher will teach students the different dynasties of Canada. To know each dynasty from which year to which year, and what happened in every dynasties. Wars have occurred in some dynasties, and every dynasties population will be change. Teacher will ask students to do a timeline to write down every dynasties and their information.
Canadian History
For geography, teacher will mostly teach topography. Make sure all the students understand the territories, provinces, and cities in Canada. Know which province does the city correspond to?. Also, every province has a capital city, what are they? And the direction of East, South, West, North, such as British Columbia is in west of Alberta. Teacher will let students to draw a Canada map by themself, highlight every province and their capital city, and draw a compass in the top corner.
Map Problem
For civics, its content is more than others, teacher will teach students about the government, law, and right. For government, teacher will teach students the different levels of governments' different responsibilities, like the governor responsible for managing the province. For law, teacher will guide the students to understand the Canadian Law, it ensure that students will not commit crimes after entering the workforce. Upper grades class teacher will bring students to visit court. For right, Canada is an immigration country, there are citizens, immigrants, tourists, indigenous people, their rights are different. Teacher will let students know what rights do different people have.
Court
For Economics, teacher will teach students the different income for different jobs. Some jobs' income are high, but some are low. Also, Canada's different territories' economics differences exist, some are poor, and some are rich. Teacher will also teach students the normal prices of the different everyday items, this helps students a lot, make sure they won't lose money in future if the meet the bad merchants sell things at very high prices.
Different Job Income
All in all, the knowledges that Social Studies teacher teach will help students a lot in future. It respectively helps students to know better for the country, different levels of people rights, and don't suffer losses in trade in their life.
