What Students Do In Chemistry

In Chemistry class, students will learn the knowledge points by listen to the teacher's lecture first. Then, they will do the work, sometimes are the written assignment, sometimes they will do the experiments. After few class, they will get a quiz. After few quiz, students will get a unit test.
First of all, students spend most of their class time listening to the teacher's lectures. During this time, they will receive notes from the teacher and write down the key points. It is very important, because students will use the note to do homework and review for test or quiz. During the lecture, students sometimes watch videos that the teacher finds online and answer the teacher's questions to ensure they understand the knowledge points.

After the lecture, students will get the work to do from teacher, sometimes teacher will give students class time to do, it depends on whether there is extra time in class. Otherwise, it will become students' homework. Besides written assignments, students sometimes will do some experiments and record the experiment report. The senior students will do more. Sometimes students may need to do the safety quiz before the experiment, because there's always some risk involved in conducting experiments.
Students will take more than one quiz in each unit, it is different than the test. Quiz is relatively less important than test, it usually only has one or two pages, it will allow students to see their true level. Students can also treat it as a small exercise. But the unit test is very important, it related to the report card. Unit test is very long, it has multiple choice questions, short answer questions and long answer questions. Multiple choice questions students will get few pages questions and answer them on the answer sheet by fill in the correct option. Short answer questions usually only write one sentence, but long answer questions may need to write a paragraph.
All in all, students mainly listen to the teachers' lecture. Then, they will also do the written assignment and some experiments. By the few lesson they will get the quiz to do. The end they will get the unit test.
